Local People

FAHLC has always had a strong commitment to working in partnership with the local people of South Ward. Local people are involved in many ways with the company, as users of its facilities and services, taking part in focus groups to offer feedback, as volunteers and on the Board of the Company.

North Somerset Council

NSC provide a number of services from the centre including Council Connect and the Library. In addition they have a number of staff based in the centre who work with local people.

NHS North Somerset

FAHLC work very closely with NHS North Somerset, through the management of the Locality Health Centre GP practice and wider Health Improvement initiatives such as the Health Trainers.

St Andrew's Church

Provide regular services in the church and other events and meetings for the congregation and wider community.

South Weston Children's Centre

SWCC run a number of activities and groups for families and children under the age of 5. They also provide individual support and access to other services.
